On 24th September, the Bhutan Shooting Federation (BSF) team, led by General Secretary Mr. Gyamtsho, held a coordination meeting with the heads of Chundu Armed Force Public School to discuss the integration of shooting sports into the school’s programs.
The meeting highlighted BSF’s vision to introduce structured shooting training and development programs for students, aiming to nurture talent, discipline, and interest in shooting sports from an early age. Key aspects of program implementation were reviewed, including resource requirements, scheduling coaching sessions without disrupting academic classes, and adopting the guiding principle:
“Excellence in the Academy, Precision in Shooting – Be Part of Both.”
A representative from the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) also participated, providing valuable guidance and emphasizing the importance of aligning the initiative with national sports development goals.
BSF sincerely thanks the Bhutan Olympic Committee for their continuous support and the heads of Chundu Armed Force Public School for their openness and willingness to collaborate in promoting shooting sports among students.
